I am a fine artist and illustrator

My work includes many mediums ranging from digital to traditional: acrylics, oils, watercolors, pastel pencil, sharpie markers and collage.

I earned a Bachelor of Science in Art Education degree, and decided to take a different path from the world of fine arts. I entered the creative business world. I found and lead the most award winning advertising agency on Long Island, New York.   My, and my team's, creative efforts resulted in client’s sales exceeding $1 billion.
 

After a great career in advertising and marketing, I returned to my beginnings and started painting. I took several online artist and illustrator courses. I also returned to the studio and enrolled in a portrait painting class at the School of Visual Arts. I learned to achieve great likeness working from in studio models and photographs. I became a professional portrait artist doing portraits of business people, children and athletes. My portfolio also includes animal portraits.

 

I decided to name my website, ilikethatpainting.com because very early on, I would hear at art shows, from  booth visitors and customers, "I like that painting". I decided this is what I want my clients to hear when they purchase and display my work in their residence or business.

My paintings have been exhibited in the Calderone Theater art gallery, New York, Barnes Gallery, New York, Old Westbury Gardens, NY  and Southern Accent Designer Showcase in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
